What do you do if the CourseCompass server is down? Even when MML and

CourseCompass are down, you can still access your work. All you need to do is go to

http://www.mathxl.com and click the button that says MyMathLab log on. You can log in here and by pass CourseCompass and still see all the homework and quizzes.

Other Troubleshooting

Error loading video?

If you try to watch a video, but you get a white screen that asks you to install Quicktime 5 or

later, try this possible fix.

                  1. Right click on that white screen with the error on it; choose Connection Speed.

With the pull-down menu, change from "Automatic" to "1.5 Mbps T1 / Intranet /

LAN" (or, if you are at home, choose whatever connection best fits your

                  situation.)

2. Close the window with that error and try launching the video again.
