Homework is due on fridays in lecture (unless noted otherwise).

Do check the homework page periodically for new homework or changed homework. Hitting the "Reload" or "Refresh" button on your browser with Ctrl or Shift pressed down (depends on the browser) usually makes absolutely sure that you have the newest version.

Homework is from Rudin unless otherwise noted.

Homework 3 (due Monday Feb 13)

Note the due date is Monday for this homework since I will be out of town on Friday (there will be a substitute don't worry, you will get your daily dose of analysis). The next homework will be due on Friday again.

Optionally (no need to turn in) it's good to look at 17. Also 14 is fun (and rather odd if you think about it).

Optional but fun: 24, 25 (notice that we get an existence but not necessarily uniqueness, for uniqueness we need further hypotheses)
