Grading:
Grades will be based on the percentages below. Curve will be applied if needed.
Exam 1: Wednesday, February 2nd, 25% of your grade.
Exam 2: Friday, March 4th, 25% of your grade. (Only over material since exam 1)
Quizzes: In-class wednesdays, based on the homework. 10% of your grade. Lowest quiz score will be dropped.
Final Exam: Monday, March 14, 8:00am - 10:59am, 40% (or 65%, see below) of your grade. (Comprehensive)
Homework: Assigned weekly (some weeks may be skipped). Homework will not be collected.
How the grade is computed: Your grade will be the maximum of
25% (Exam 1 score) + 25% (Exam 2 score) + 40% (Final exam score) + 10% (Quiz score)
or
25% (Exam 1 score) + 65% (Final exam score) + 10% (Quiz score)
or
25% (Exam 2 score) + 65% (Final exam score) + 10% (Quiz score)
Test Policies: No books, notes, calculators or computers allowed on the exams or the final. No makeup exams; see above.
