The Mathematical Association of America (MAA) recently announced that Professor Lisa Mantini has been elected to a three year term as governor of the Oklahoma Arkansas section of the MAA.

The section governor represents the section on the Board of Governors of the MAA. This is the main policy making and governing body of the organization. Professor Mantini succeeds the current section governor, Professor Jill Guerra of the University of Arkansas, Fort Smith, who will complete her term  June 30.
